Why to study in Canada?
Have you heard about the universities in Canada? If no, then we let you know about it.

There are many universities which are quite topnotch.  McGill University which is one of the best universities in Canada has the QS ranking of 24th across the globe. This university was incepted in the year 1821. It has students from currently 150 countries studying here. This university is the best destination to study when it comes to choosing medical doctoral studies.  This university provides studies in undergraduate programs in subjects like Agricultural Economics, Biotechnology, Architecture, Anthropology, Bioresource Engineering, Biostatistics etc. A surprising fact is that almost 13 universities in Canada are known among the best 200 universities in the rankings released by QS. There are top 3 universities that are in the best 50 universities rankings released by QS.

The University of Toronto is one of the best places to study IT in Canada. It has the course of Computer Science available at two locations in St. George and Scarborough.

The university also provides an undergraduate program in the two domains of communication, culture, information and technology and digital enterprise management at its campus in Mississauga. The post graduate programs offered by this university are in different subjects like Theology, Social Work, Information, Law and Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy etc. There have been a lot of innovations in research in this university, in the different fields of stem cell and insulin.

The best part about this university is that it has co-op programs available at its Scarborough campus. These programs allow the students at this university to become part of paid internships in companies like Ernst and Young, Microsoft, Financial Services Commission of Ontario etc.

The next most talked about University in Canada is the University of British Columbia. It has 45th rank in the QS world university rankings. The Sauder School of business which is a division of this university is one of the best business schools in the world. The aim of this university is to produce business leaders who are capable of bringing a new dimension to the corporate world. The rankings given to the Sauder School of business by the Financial Times are consistently among the top 25 business schools in the world. The faculty of this university has also been ranked in the 29th spot by the QS for subjects like Arts and Humanities. If you plan to work-study in Canada, i.e. work during the duration of your course then there are options available such as co-op or internships.

During internships, this kind of employment allows students to pursue it as a part of their academic program. However, they require certification from the Canadian academic institution for their internships. To live and study in Canada, it’s important that you have the Canadian study permit before arriving here. This Canadian permit can only be issued if your admission has been approved by an authorized learning institution in this country. The candidate should also be able to provide proof for his capability to pay the tuition fees and living expenses for his stay in this country. When the admission gets approved, it’s better to mention the designated learning institution number on your application for the study permit.  The University of Alberta has a widespread campus consisting of 150 buildings. It also has a French teaching faculty located in the Faculté Saint-Jean campus.

The student who is applying for a study permit to live and study in Canada should have gained a letter of acceptance from the respective educational institution. As per the requirements stated by IRCCFind Article, a candidate needs to undergo a medical examination and also provide the same authorities with a police clearance certificate.
